Races , specially important races ( carrying prestige and not money), have become more competitive; which should make a serious handicapper to spend more time to select the eventual (real or virtual) winner...

Bangalore Derby is as open as Indian Derby was - but with a difference. No 15/1 will win this race. But the favorite may(will) not win. The winner should be between 3/1 -8/1.
My choice is between Kangra and Mahetji. I may play both or one of them depending on paddock condition. Zenon will have 25% of my normal betting amount, additionally...

You statements could be clear and simple but definitely not true.
Sorry to reply this late, as it went back to 2nd page and had my oversight.

Lets talk about your your US trip funding claims.

Where did you specify that you will be rolling the amount??

And secondly, rolling the amount means that if you lose a bet, its only the amount of 1st bet is lost in addition to the winnings.

But in your case, if your last bet was lost, you would have lost 4 lakhs, instead of 2000.

Please clarify If i am wrong..

@ manish,

Your observation is fair and simple. Right. My head post and statements are also clear and simple. The headpost clearly says 'my choice is between Kangra and Mahateji... I may play both or one depending on paddock condition...Zenon will have 25% of my bet...
Prevalent Force - Public fancy is NOT EVEN IN MY LIST OF PROBABLES!

Even if I played all the three as per the posting, I'm a winner and not a loser. Betting amount is not a issue here. I may bet a tenner or a quarter is my prerogative which affects only me...

Any claim made by me is ALWAYS AFTER POSTING MY TIPS IN ADVANCE ON THESE FORUMS, whether those tips were single , double or rolls...

many times I play 2 or 3 or more choices in a race using 'dutch' system, which gives me a positive ROI...

  manish said ... On : 2/16/2018 11:58:11 AM

my question and observation was fair and simple.

Odds vary from centre to centre or bookie to bookie, but who will bet at 4 to 1, when the odds were freely available at 5 to 1.

On second thought, i can say that you could have send money to somebody to bet on your behalf and he cheated you with the odds, i think.

But my observation will be that whenever you make a claim here, first please notfiy your bets in advance it so that we can also clap on your success or feel bad at your failure..

After race heroes are seen here in plenty.

@ azim,

give your last 2 or 4 or 6 or 10 days selections on this thread...

I'm impressed with your 60% strike rate; my strike rate is 30 to 80% averaging only 55% and I survive only by changing my level of betting...

  raghavan said ... On : 2/15/2018 9:20:44 PM

If you do not like reacting to what I say, that is no problem to me. But, If you make any observation about what I say, then I will give appropriate reply.

You write simple english or complicated english. That is immaterial. The fact is you tipped 3 horses. If all the horses had failed, then you would have said "I have avoided any betting in that race". A tipster is welcome to say his fancy and be proud of the right choice. But, your license is only to be proud of your choice and nothing else. Ridiculing others as born loser, self confirmed loser etc will invite sharp replies.

You said you tipped ten winners and ten losers. There are nearly 25OO to 3OOO races every year and giving twenty tips is not a big thing. So, again I am telling you. Give twenty tips or two hundred tips. But, do not pass any dirty comment about others. No one is master in the races.

Yes. You did not write the amount of bets. I by default took 1OOO on Kangra & Mahateji, and 5OO on zenon. You are welcome to give correction. If you say you backed 1OOO on Kangra, 4O on Mahateji and 26O on Zenon you are welcome to say so. The only problem is no one will believe your statement if it comes after the race.

"You cant give three, even two straight winners...". I am astonished, thoroughly overwhelmed by your remarks. I do not give even ONE winner!

Bias / jealousy ; these are your statements. I am having enough of my own assignments to waste time by being biased/jealousy towards others. I know for certain that you are a loser. 3 tips in one race, hardly makes you a tipster.

  chanakya said ... On : 2/15/2018 1:15:10 PM

It is a pity that you can't understand simple English.

I wrote.... ' My choice is between Kangra and Mahateji. I may play both or one of them.... Zenon will have 25% of my normal betting amount.... how much on each of the two choice, at what odds, I played - did I write here???????????

You can't give THREE, EVEN TWO straight winners and you say that 10 STRAIGHT WINNERS OR LOSERS, given BEFORE THE RACES,in less than 20 days given by some body 'means nothing' shows your level of 'intelligence' as well as BIAS towards FEW
lucky winners in horse racing...

No more responses or wasting time on a grown up child crying on split and spitting milk...

@ manish,

Very surprising enquiry or question!!!

Odds vary from bookie to bookie and center to center and sometimes second to second - depending upon the flow of money, you may be knowing- perhaps...
Prevalent Force - a fake & 'satisfying' favorite came down from 17/10 to 14/10 and Kangra went up from 7/2 alongwith other runners. I placed my bet at 4/1...

WHAT'S WRONG??????????????????????????????????????????

I know that you claim to be from Delhi and perhaps are; because not your claim but the earlier postings on other unrelated threads point out that you are from there...

There are many imposters on these 2 sites... I do read them... unfortunately I rarely learn anything from them - they are essential part of keeping a forum or a thread alive...

I'm NOT apart of them...

  manish said ... On : 2/15/2018 11:08:34 AM

You say that Kangra was 4/1. Where? Mumbai....

I think, you did not attend races that day. Kangra was freely available at 5.5.... in Delhi. and at 5 to 1, you could bet sitting at your doorstep. Bookies could have come to you.

I know that mumbai and delhi odds are more or less same.

And if you wish to give a streak of winners (rolling the amount), then please inform the forum in advance. and not after the streak is completed.

  raghavan said ... On : 2/15/2018 9:17:59 AM

My understanding of Azim's post.

He locates winners. Around 6O%. He will be a good winner if he sticks to his choice. But, at the race course, he will be confused & changes his mind.

Perhaps this problem is purely psychological. No solution could be found. So, someone else can take a chance on his choice/s and be smiling after the races. Whereas Azim will be cursing his luck.

Lets hope Azim will overcome this psychological weakness.

  sun said ... On : 2/14/2018 4:38:23 PM
Your statement that strike rate is 60% and you are a loser defies all logic. My queries to you
1.Strike rate for Win OR Win/Shp/Place?
2.Is your quantum of bets uniform ie you play same amount while betting on Odds On Favourite OR Other Not Favourites?
3.If you split your bets between Win/Shp/Place as the case may be are they in the same ratio all always.
4.Strike Rate of 60% is for Odds On favourite for all bets?
Only (4) may result in loss if the selections are all 6/10 horses.

  Azim said ... On : 2/13/2018 8:55:25 PM

kangara was a 2nd favourite so if u tipped kangara it's not a big thing

I m watching 2nd mad max in this forum hahaha
yea you r right nobody can make money through horse racing it's impossible and if someone is telling that he earned money than he is lying...
see my tips and threads in sections my strike rate is more than 60% but still m a looser becoz study is a different things and playing with bookies mind false shouts in a ring and playing ur chosen horse is a different thing...
m challenging all my horse talkers friends apart from chennai and Delhi I will tip from all the centers and my strike rate will be more than 60...
but still I will be the looser as usual...
whoever wants to play a game of tipping please do reply

  raghavan said ... On : 2/13/2018 3:33:03 PM

You said you have no time to waste on a perennial loser. But, had to waste penning a few lines.

Coming to the three horses you selected, if you had played 2OOO each on all the three then the investment is 66OO. 1O% tax. However, it seems the tax is just 12O or 2%. So the won amount is 4OOO - 12O. From where 6OOO profit came? Clearly you have not made 6OOO minus 12O. It requires no memory at all to speak facts and truth. But it requires extra memory power and intelligence to tell a lie. If this is the state of affairs about your winnings, then less said about your losings are better. All things reinforce my strong belief that in the racing, in the long run everyone is a loser. I admit that; you could have admitted yours; or at least remained silent.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool rather than to speak and remove all the doubts.

Earlier, I had said that you are run of the mill tipster. If you have given 1O winners and 1O losers that is at your pleasure. But in India more than 25OO races are held per annum and 1O winners and 1O runners do not mean anything. Well. OK. Stick to your giving tips and do not come with boklahat of your winnings and others' losings.

You said I am the only one who had satisfaction of betting on a loser. O K. There may be others who have no satisfaction. What difference it makes to you whether I was satisfied or not. On the derby day, there were 6 winners from me. Checkmate, Smasher, Brainstorm, Dance the dream, In the stars & Lincoln. In fact if I had rochester, I would have passed the JP. Two losers were Run fores run and prevalent force.

"By the way who gave you authority to evaluate anybody or anything said or done by somebody?"

The authority was given by those who said to others, self confessed losers, born losers. If you make fun of other losers then the other losers will hit you back. I am interacting in the two race sites for around 9 years, and only those who speak utter rubbish will get repaid in the same tone and tenor. So many people are writing in this site. Whether anyone speaks badly about others? You make fun at the cost of others and expect others to remain silent?

If you do not even acknowledge my existence, that is well and good. That is what I want. No boklahats and head weight chats is the one I expect from each and every one. You crossed the limits and got the treatment you deserve. But, on the other hand if you refuse to acknowledge me or my writings, then I will have the satisfaction of my mission accomplished.

  chanakya said ... On : 2/13/2018 12:56:08 PM
@ raghavan,

Out of 10 different individuals giving different opinions in this thread, you are the only one who gets ‘satisfaction’ by losing a race and keep on intruding where angels fear to tread…

In the past on several occasions I have given more than 10 winners as well as more than 10 losers in an unbroken sequence and may do it gain , at MY pleasure and NOT on somebody’s challenge…

By the way, who gave you the ‘authority’ to ‘evaluate’ anybody or anything said or done by somebody.
You are a self-proclaimed loser; admitting again and again about it while no one else asked or forced you to accept or write about your failure or losses…

Kangra was 4/1 and even if I play equal amount Rs. 2000 on all the 3 selections I am a winner of Rs. 6000(minus Rs.120), which is enough for me…

Henceforth , I’ll not even acknowledge your existence…

  raghavan said ... On : 2/13/2018 12:45:35 AM

So, you value your time. So, not interested to waste time with a self
confirmed loser. You have no guts to accept challenge. No amount of rhetorics will hide your incompetence.

That is not a problem to me. Your refusal to give tips is clear indication of your lack of talent in giving tips. In one race, if you give three choices. Of which 2 are top three favorites. But, in that case stop telling others "self confirmed losers" or "bizarre acceptance of failure" comments.

95% of those who interact here are losers. The first name in the loser's list is Chanakya. The only difference is your ego, swapratishte, etc make it difficult for you to admit in the open site. But, I know one thing. Hamam mein sub nangen hain.

Chaltah hai. You do not comment about my losing or winning. And I will not disturb you. But, if you dare making totally unwarranted comments about me, I will just tear your arrogance.

You have all the makings of a Nostradamus - no head and tail, but still a winner !

  raghavan said ... On : 2/12/2018 4:20:31 PM
@ Chanakya.

In respect of a race where majority said it is between Prevalent Force, Kangra and Mahateji, one should not pat his own back for tipping Kangra. Even if he has tipped only Kangra for win and only win.

Had you tipped Star carnation, though it did not win, you would have gained well deserved applause.

But, you have given Kangra and Mahateji with additional 25% for zenon. Very rarely we come across such multiple choices for win. If you bet 1OOO each on Kangra/Mahateji and additional 5OO for Zenon, the quantum of dividends barely justifies the investment. And that too with the rider favorite may [will] not win.

This particular sentence "favorite may [will] not win" can be conveniently misinterpreted after the race. Favorite will not win is what you have said in your letter 2/12/2OO8 1.O4.O1 pm. And in the lead post you said "favorite may [will] not win.

Born loser? Everyone, including Chanakya is a born loser only. So why single out some tipster who give selection once in a mamangam. In any case tipping a 2nd favorite or 3rd favorite and then making fun of others as born losers hardly justifies your stature.

Try as much as your intelligence permits; the racing is adjusted to see you as loser. No amount of boklahats and loose talks will cover up your perennial contribution to the totes and bookies.

Even today I challenge you. Till the end of this winter season, you give your selections at least one hour before the start of 1st race. Should be only names of the horses. Not favorite, 2nd favorite etc. Whether win or place should be spelt out. And at the end of the season, which may be March 31, I will evaluate and give the result on an assumed bet of 1OOO in each case.

Ho jaane do dhoodh ka dhoodh aur paani ka paani.

ps: 1. In tamil, mamangam means 12 years.
2. In racing, the itch to stay talking & be in limelight is too difficult to resist for any punter. When you said you will boycott any contribution in any of the racing sites, even I was also too worried whether earlier, I have gone too much on offensive. Thanks for occasional appearences.

  alonesoul said ... On : 2/12/2018 4:03:59 PM
@ Raghavan

Not just PF whoever backed whichever horse was thinking about that perticular horse will win.

My point was about your satisfaction regarding backing a FAVOURITE. Once you start thinking or reading a race without any concern for favourite then you may start founding some other propositions except JUST losing one.

40% strike rate is an healthy strike rate one can EARN from races with that.

And last but not least anyone who has mastered the art of betting will never boast it..and certainly will not require my or yours or anyone elses 2000 to convert it to 2500.
as far as lakhs and lakhs is concerned its quality which matters not quantity.

Best of Regards.

Dear Chanakya,

Excellent selections.I liked them and played Kangra for win and Mahetji for place.

  chanakya said ... On : 2/12/2018 1:04:01 PM

It is satisfying that all my predictions based on analysis came true.
1. fluke(15/1) will not win...
2. favorite will not win...
3. winner between 3/1 - 8/1...
4. Kangra is my choice...

Kangra won, favorite lost, 4/1 not 15/1 won...

'hats off' to a bizarre acceptance of a failure and a born loser in admitting that losing a bet on a favorite is satisfying...

I think I must see a 'shrinker'...

  raghavan said ... On : 2/12/2018 9:37:24 AM

It is not only me. But each and everyone who backed PF presumed that it is better than Kangra and Mahateji. It is a different matter that star Carnation ran hell of a race.

How many days I will survive with that satisfaction? Every time we bet a horse we will be confident of its winning. Of course it is a losing proposition. But, do we have any other alternative? Only mosquitoes, eagles and crows will be there in race course if there is any alternative.

Still finding difficulty in locating a punter with strike rate of 4O% or more.

If anybody tells you that he has mastered the art of betting and has earned lakhs & lakhs in racing, just hand him 2OOO/= in the morning with condition that he should repay 25OO/= by evening. Then watch the fun. Even earning one rupee is an extremely difficult thing in racing.

@stop fooling punter

& all those who backed Prevalent Force,

At least we had the satisfaction that PF was the favorite till the races are run.

But Kangra with Trevor up, had some other ideas. The real hero is star carnation which filled the slot between Kangra & Mahateji.

You do not fancy PF for invitation cup. Well. 95% of the punter force will not fancy that. O K. Which horse you fancy for Invitation cup?

As per me P force simply stands out and so far good odds.

He has raced in a better class ad travel time. C.BLUE won on 26 jan went to MUM and won the I. derby just as the same days difference.
Those propagating R star please see race of MUM same jockey on H/CLus 4th lodged a complaint against 2nd place horse for bumping him.

The stipes stewards remarks were an eye opener. It was zervan who just did not change his whip hand and allowed the horse to drift, probably he just does not know!

Places are a bit tough to predict since my winner is clear

Not a good Card on Derby Day. Go to Races, play in tote in each Race..., meet friends, enjoy in Bar or Canteens, come home happily.

Those who are willing to be robbed can venture with Bookies.

Take care of hard earned money. If B Fifty Two can beat Temerity, in a two horse field, anything can happen.

In my 40 years of Racing, I have never felt, Racing is a place of unsafe. No amount of your calculations, experience, jockey merits, handicaps will work when the Races are pre decided by connections.

Like IPL people are thronging the Race Courses. The Racing administration is only making the rich richer and the poor poorer.

I am not telling that your choice is bad. But feel prevalent force will score.
